I live in a retirement home of about
150 men and ladies. We recently had a
"Gay Nineties" party and I was the hostess.
Guess what I showed? ... Live In Tuscany!

I wore my tee shirt with Andre on it that my granddaughter bought me at the May 2005 concert and I shared my folder with all the pictures of Andre and the JSO which Andre autographed for me.

Andre fans are so unique and yet we sound like kindred spirits because we have the same common denominator. I'll bet if we were on an island we would all get along as long as we had DVDs and Videos of Andre.  When the gal came to my seat (who I had only known through the website) I instinctively liked her and she lives in a suburb of my town. I'm going to have her and her husband for dinner. Andre has brought so much love to the world through his music and his example of a clean-cut person. The man can't do no wrong. I don't know if you are a spiritual person but a lot of people believe God put him here for a reason and that reason is what Andre is accomplishing. There has to be some good in this world before the not so good takes over.

I'll tell you about my experience with Andre's concert in Chicago and then you can tell me about yours. I live 90 miles from Chicago and my grandson and granddaughter took me. They weren't fans before we left but they are now. My grandson said he would go next year. They both had tears in their eyes Andre's music was so beautiful.

Andre was so gracious and patient with the crowd.  I think he's even more handsome in reality.  I was very close in back of him then in front for his signature and picture.  It wasn't an "in line" group, Andre just wandered through the pile of humanity.  I also talked to Kirsten.   And to Suzan the vocalist.  Very sweet she is and down to earth too.  I had four people look me up.  Like Sonja, Sigrun who I met in Ames last year, also a gal from a suburb from Milwaukee who I met through Andre's website.  I talked to her on the phone but saw her for the first time when she came to my seat.

All in all I had a memorable time. I wished our seats were closer.  That's where all the fun is.  If I go next year I hope my grandson can get very close seats.  They will start selling in September for next year.

I'm Andre's oldest "groupie". (meant in a good way, of course.) My mother came from Germany, a fan of the Strauss's. I'm 91 so it's credible. She bought all the records and I had to wind the gramophone and she also would attend operettas and then come home and sing all the songs. That's why I appreciate Andre's music so much. I'm living in my second childhood I owe my happy "old age" to him.

At the Meet & Greet, I presented Andre with a white rose. A symbol of sweetness and innocence. Which is the love I have for Andre.

My Best To All,

Trudy
